Peter pan at springfield little theatre12/20/2023 From NYC to Barnstable (if I waited for a Provincetown bus it would have been hours), the bus got a flat tire in Hartford and we had to switch buses, $86 ticket. From Provincetown to NYC the bus broke down and we were stuck on a highway for more than an hour, that was a $68 ticket. Peter Pan bus lines takes zero responsibility for anything that might happen. Safe to say this will be my last booking with them. Instead, I was met with a defensive, rude, and nonchalant attitude from customer service, through email and in person. I was told that i should have been at the gate even after being told by my friends that the first bus had left and that they can’t take responsibility for the 45 min delay that happened for the second bus i booked because it was due to traffic.Įven though I was very upset at the way my morning went and the fact that they didn’t have anybody helping anyone out, I would have let it all go had they taken some responsibility and issued a refund for at least one of the trips. I emailed customer service and spoke to the dispatcher in person about the whole situation and asked for a refund for at least the first morning trip but they refused to issue a refund, only credit to be used for up to a year and they did not take responsibility for anything that happened. The bus that was supposed to leave at 12 was now leaving at 12:45 pm. 30 minutes later, the dispatcher finally came up to us to say that there’s a delay with the bus coming in. There was nobody to help us downstairs so everybody was confused and nobody was notified about any changes or delays. I thought we were at the wrong gate for a minute so i went back up to check with the ticketing office but she said we’re at the right gate. A line started forming behind me and then it was noon and no bus showed up. I was at the gate by 11:30 and waited to board. I was trying to find tickets with another company online but it was too late and very pricey because it was last minute so i went back to check in with Peter Pan and they said they did have a noon bus available so I purchased a new ticket. There was only 1 woman working at the ticketing office so by the time i got to speak to her, the 2nd bus had already left and i was told the next bus would be at 3 pm because the others were full. I got to the station and got in line to speak to someone at the ticketing office to see what we can do and learned that there were 2 buses, the second one was for the remaining passengers but no one had notified us by email. The driver told them that the bus is full and that they need to be on their way. I was supposed to arrive to the station by 9 am but subways were slow that day and i was a few minutes away when I receive a message from my friends who were already on the bus that said the bus left 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. I booked a 9:30 am bus to DC with my friends. I don’t normally take the time to write bad reviews but this company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced and people need to be warned about booking with them.
